Colors for Your Home Décor
If you are tired to see the same picture of your home place, change something. First of all think about the room you would like to change or maybe the whole place needs to be touched with your hands. When the decision is made, you need to know about the colors. It is very important to choose the right color. It is known that different colors make us feel and act in a different way. If you want to feel comfortable at home think about the colors.
If you’ve got bored about your bedroom and want to bring more passion in it, put a red coverlet on your bed and some red pillows. Or you can hang red curtains and put red candlestick. But if you are dreaming about your bedroom as a peaceful place for a rest, then a coverlet and the pillows have to be blue, but should never choose a brown colors for a bedroom.
Maybe you are not satisfied about how you feel in your working room. You will work faster if there will be a few red things. But yellow will make your brain work more active. And the green one is one of the best choices for a working room. Just put a few flowers in your chosen flowerpots, you can also change the chair or a carpet, all in a same color. The room will look more attractive, but still harmonic.
The best way to decorate your kitchen is to put some flowerpots with herbs. You can use them also while making food. Potholders have been almost forgotten, but they could bring same life to a kitchen. And of course the table, it is the “hart” of the kitchen. If you love decoupage, you can even use funny stories from a newspaper, people can get surprised. If you like something more minimalist just use overlays, there is a wild choice of them. And a glass vas fool of colorful candies or sunflower seeds and nuts, would look perfect and “light” on a table. As we decided that the colors are important the best choice for a kitchen would be yellow, white or even black details.
Living room is the place where you rest, party, play, live. So, if you want to have some relax in your living room, do not overcharge it. If the walls and furniture are colorful the details better be white, black, but if the walls and furniture are pastel colored or even white, then you need something playful. Choose something gold, orange, green, pink or brown if you are conservative.
If you don’t like heavy things – glass would be perfect for you. Put some nice dry sticks in a big glass vase, you can color them in different colors.
The expression “to play with colors” is to some purpose. You can play with them or they will play on your feelings every day you spend at home, so choose what is the best for you.
